Virtual Assistant Jobs

Virtual assistant jobs are available for those with clerical, bookkeeping or administrative experience. They are a great way for you to work for yourself while doing work you are comfortable with.

Virtual assistants are generally independent contractors of businesses. Often, they are not on the regular salary payroll and do not receive the perks of an in-office employee such as employer paid health insurance. The benefits of being a virtual assistant can greatly outweigh the benefits of working directly for an employer.

Virtual assistant jobs can help someone stay home with their children (or just stay home with your dogs like me!) while still earning a reliable income. Many sites require at least five years of administrative assistant experience. Some virtual assistant jobs have training programs which may be a big help to those who are just starting out in the work at home field.

While virtual assistant jobs can be found online you may also take a look at offices or businesses in your town that may consider paying you to work from home as a virtual assistant instead of having to pay all the costs associated with an on-site employee.

Do you have a virtual assistant site you would like to recommend? Send it to info@thefrugalhome.com or contribute an article!
