Turkey noodle soup is a great feel good meal. I like it when we are sick and it is great for nights when you need an easy meal or cold evenings.
Frugal Tips for Turkey Noodle Soup
Turkey noodle soup is very cheap to make and filling at the same time. Use leftover turkey, especially from Thanksgiving, for this noodle soup. And don’t forget you can substitute chicken for the turkey!
*All of my soup recipes can be used with dairy or made into dairy free recipe versions. I have a milk allergy while my husband does not so I often try to make recipes in which substitions can be made either way. My turkey noodle soup recipes are also made to be as frugal as possible.
Frugal Soup Recipe : Turkey Noodle Soup
Cooked turkey shredded or cubed
Broth (turkey or chicken)
egg noodles
celery chopped
Cook It Up!
Throw everything into a pot. Add water if you don’t have enough broth. Cook until egg noodles reach desired consistency. If you are freezing this turkey noodle soup then freeze it before noodles are done so that they don’t get soggy when you reheat them.
Serve It Up!
While turkey noodle soup is great just the way it is, it is also good served with hot crispy bread.
