cinnamon-butter-pears-dessertThis really should be under the healthy recipes, I mean it is made with pears right? We can just ignore the brown sugar and butter!

Frugal Tips for Cinnamon Butter Pears

Purchase and make this dessert when pears are on sale to make this meal as frugal as possible.

*All of my dessert recipes can be used with dairy or made into dairy free recipe versions. I have a milk allergy while my husband does not so I often try to make recipes in which substitions can be made either way. My dessert recipes are also made to be as frugal as possible.

Cinnamon Butter Recipes

Gather It Up!

2 pears
1 cup softened dairy free margarine
cinnamon
brown sugar

Cook It Up!

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut the pears in half and place a large dollop of butter on each half. Sprinkle with a generous amount of cinnamon and brown sugar. Cook for at least 45 minutes or until the pears are as soft as you want.

Serve It Up!

I like to drizzle the butter/cinnamon/brown sugar liquid over the top of the pears to serve.
