This is a hearty meal that will fill everyone up. This is a comfort meal, and a cheap meal, but by no means is this a healthy meal so enjoy it but not all the time!

Frugal Tips for Polish Sausage, Potatoes, and Cabbage

You can’t get much more frugal than this but I do purchase my polish sausage in a large package at Aldi’s. I flash freeze them individually then throw in a freezer bag so that I can just grab what I need.

*All of my dinner recipes can be used with dairy or made into dairy free recipe versions. I have a milk allergy while my husband does not so I often try to make recipes in which substitions can be made either way. My dinner recipes are also made to be as frugal as possible.

Polish Sausage, Potatoes, and Cabbage

Gather It Up!

1 polish sausage link per two people
1 large potato per person
1/8 cup of cabbage sliced thin per person

Cook It Up!

Cut the potatoes and polish sausage into chunks. Fry potatoes in a small amount of oil. Just before they are done throw in the polish sausage and cook for a minute. Add the cabbage and cook until warm.

Serve It Up!

Spoon this into bowls for a filling dinner or add an egg to the leftovers the next morning for a tasty breakfast!
