Menu for Thanksgiving
The Frugal Home has set up a menu for Thanksgiving for you! You don’t have to even think about it, just pick up the ingredients and go! (menu is obviously not complete, bare with me as I get all the recipes up!)
Frugal Menu for Thanksgiving
This is a basic Thanksgiving menu that will feed any amount of people that you need to feed (and get them full!) by doubling or tripling the recipes. This frugal Thanksgiving menu is also very basic, no fancy meals here! These are so basic that many times a recipe for the item can be found on the box or can of the item.
Turkey 1 to 1 and a half pounds per person and you will have a lot of leftovers for OAMC meals.
Green Bean Casserole (recipe usually on the back of the bag of french fried onions)
Mashed Potatoes (just like you always make them)
Sweet Potato Pie (easy to find in any cookbook or online with or without marshamallows)
Dressing or Stuffing (go for stove top or generic stove top if you need to!)
Rolls (make them homemade for the most frugal version!)
Pumpkin Pie
What we actually have on our Thanksgiving Menu:
Well, it hasn’t happened yet because Thanksgiving isn’t here but this is the plan!
